Block stone is extracted using machinery and/or drilling, No explosives are used at the quarry, ensuring the stone integrity by eliminating blast micro fractures.

A seasoned stock of block stone is held at Mine Train Quarry year round. The largest block extracted from the quarry was 100 Tonnes plus! The normal size is between 4 and 8 tonnes.

Blockstone is available in 3 price grades which reflect the qualities of the stone.
